BS/MS Concurrent Program

The BS/MS Concurrent Program is available to all current USU undergraduate students who are currently juniors in the MAE program. The requirements to apply include a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the last 60 semester credits, and a student should complete 90 credit hours toward their BS graduation requirements at the time of application.

The Concurrent Program has the following benefits:

  • Greater selection of graduate courses (many graduate courses are taught on alternate years)
  • Senior Design Project could be a start for a Graduate Design Project or Thesis
  • 150* total credits for both BS and Masters (*Plan C MS requires 3 extra credits)
  • Much higher starting salaries for students with master's degree
  • Often a thesis project can result in paid research work with a faculty member to help supplement your income while in school.
