MAE Course Number Changes

Effective Summer 2006

The Utah Board of Regents requires the Utah University System to have a common course number and name for courses taught on multiple campuses. The intent is to make it easier for students to transfer credits from one institution to another. MAE Students the following changes are in effect beginning with Summer 2006.

  • ENGR 1010 is changed to ENGR 1000 Introduction to Engineering Design
  • ENGR 2000 is changed to ENGR 2010 Engineering Mechanics - Statics
  • ENGR 2020 is changed to ENGR 2030 Engineering Mechanics - Dynamics
  • ENGR 2040 is changed to ENGR 2140 Strength of Materials
  • ENGR 2210 is changed to ENGR 2450 Engineering Numerical Methods II
  • MAE 2060 is changed to MAE 2160 Material Science
  • MAE 2210 is changed to MAE 2450 Engineering Numerical Methods II
  • MAE 2400 is changed to MAE 2300 Thermodynamics
  • MAE 2600 is changed to MAE 2650 Manufacturing Processes
