Biography

Haoran Wang joined the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at USU in August 2020. Before joining USU, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Duke University for two years. He does research in solid mechanics and materials with a focus on multiscale computations. Currently, he is working on the mechanics of energy storage materials for high-capacity rechargeable batteries and the mechanics of stimuli-responsive polymers.
